Hash Ali a man of many talents ex pilot and flight instructor, data analyst and educator. Recently leaving his career as a high school math teacher to further pursue his passion for Education. Teaching on Youtube and through online courses helping other professionals better utilise the Google Suite, to optimise their lives and ultimately open up better opportunities for them in the workplace.

  • Hash approached me to assist with the development and launch of his new education project and Youtube Channel. Hash had been searching for the right brand specialist for many months and we immediately connected, Hash found me to be the the perfect balance of professionalism and creativity. He had a business vision that he was trying to bring to life, an knew he needed to invest in an expert to help him bring it to life.

    The Challenge

    His current Youtube channel The Math Lab NZ had great potential but we needed to refine the overall brand and have a cohesive visual identity that could be used across Youtube, Courses, Websites and Communities.

    We needed to define how this brand was going to come to life verbally and visually and how we could connect with customers, the problem was we initially didn’t have a very clear idea of who they were or how we could relate to them. We needed to do some thorough research and brain storming to get clear on the purpose of the brand, who the customer was and how we could connect with them through branding.

    The Solution

    Over the course of 6 weeks we were able to define and develop a clear brand strategy through a 3 hour workshop, followed by in depth market research to provide a insights into the brand core, brand positioning and brand persona.

    Using our findings we were able to craft a framework for communicating the key messages and the overall brand to the customer.

    The name needed to be inspirational, understandable and rooted in meaning.

    Formula - Excel and Sheets related to formulas, Mathematician background, The recipe or method to productivity.

    24 - Productivity, 24 Hours in a Day to utilise to make your life more efficient. 24 carat gold is pure gold,

    F24 - A shortcut function on expanded keyboards, culturally and symbolically a good and lucky number.
